"Onmi Chang'an" is China's first large-scale resident conceptual performance, with Zhang Yimou as chief director and Sha Xiaolan as executive producer. The production integrates intangible cultural heritage elements such as Shaanxi shadow puppetry, puppetry and Qinqiang opera, combined with holographic effects, dynamic projection and other technological methods. Through eight creative segments, it presents an artistic vision in which time and space flow without boundaries. On October 15, 2023, it premiered in Xi'an as the opening performance of the 9th Silk Road International Arts Festival, and officially opened to the public on November 9 of the same year.
