"Galloping Forward: An Exhibition Celebrating the Year of the Horse" is now open to the public in Northern Hall 8 of the National Museum of China. Running for three months from Jan. 30, the exhibition showcases more than 120 carefully selected horse-related artifacts, including wooden lacquerware horses and sancai black-glazed pottery horses. Organized into five thematic sections—Horses in the Course of Civilization; Chariots and Horses in Ritual Systems; The Craftsmanship of Horse Tack; Hoofbeats Across Thousands of Miles; and Mythical Steeds in Artistic Heritage—the exhibition offers a comprehensive view of the horse's profound significance across Chinese civilization.

Concurrently, the museum has launched a cultural‑creative series titled "A Black Horse," featuring items such as blind-box figurines, plush keychains, and building-block sets.
