McDonald's China has launched its annual Spring Festival campaign, "Wishing You Golden Arches This Year," introducing eight limited-time themed menu items at more than 7,700 restaurants nationwide.

At 25 Spring Festival–themed flagship outlets, visitors can see four specially designed lanterns carrying auspicious meanings, created in collaboration with inheritors of intangible cultural heritage. The lantern styles include Beijing palace lanterns, Foshan decorative lanterns, Qinhuai lotus lanterns and Anhui fish lanterns.

McDonald's China will host Spring Festival pop-ups in Shanghai, Beijing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou and Nanjing, integrating with local lantern-show traditions. In 14 cities, flagship stores will feature these intangible cultural heritage lanterns and offer activities such as lantern-lighting ceremonies, NPC immersive interactions, and exclusive city-themed creative merchandise (badges and bookmarks).
