Huanggang Village is located in Shuangjiang Town, Liping County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and has a history of more than 800 years.
Surrounded by secluded forests and winding streams, the Dong ethnic culture of Huanggang Village is rich and vibrant, preserving thousands of years of traditional production and lifestyle customs. Folk traditions such as the "Tai Guan Ren (Official-Carrying Festival)", the "Ganpo Festival (Mountain Gathering Festival)", and the "Han Tian Jie (Heaven-Calling Festival)" are well known far and wide, earning the village the reputation of being the "Hometown of Men's Dong Grand Song".

A total of 420 traditional Dong houses are built along the mountains, scattered across the slopes. Five Dong drum towers stand tall, guarding the tranquility of the village. A wind-rain bridge lies quietly across the stream, connecting the past and the present. Along the stream stand 510 granary buildings, forming a distinctive "grain-drying rack cultural landscape", which has become the most iconic cultural landmark of Huanggang Village.
