Rime Island is one of China's most renowned rime-viewing destinations. The dense and breathtaking frost-covered scenery here offers cinematic beauty, makes it a dream location for photographers. Jilin's rime, together with the landscapes of Guilin, the Stone Forest of Yunnan and the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, are acclaimed as China's "Four Natural Wonders".

Changbai Mountain's Heavenly Lake is the most well-preserved multi-origin composite volcano from the Cenozoic era within China. It is also the source of the Songhua River, the Yalu River and the Tumen River, earning it the title "Source of Three Rivers".

The snowy scenery of the Laolike Lake Scenic Area is stunning. Influenced by the convergence of warm, moist air from the Sea of Japan and cold currents from Siberia, the area forms the magnificent landscape known as the "Most Beautiful Snow beneath Changbai Mountain".
