Also known as the Zhongjieshan Archipelago, the Dongji Islands are located in the eastern part of the Zhoushan Archipelago in Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. The archipelago consists of 28 islands and 108 uniquely shaped reefs, with four inhabited islands: Miaozi Lake, Dongfushan, Qingbang, and Huangxing. From the sunrise observation deck, you can watch the sun slowly rise above the sea, casting golden light across the waves as if the ocean itself were edged in gold.
