Badaling Great Wall

Located in Yanqing district, Beijing, the Badaling Great Wall centers on a strategic pass and its surrounding fortifications at the highest point along the historic route into Beijing from the northwest. As an outstanding example of the Great Wall of China, Badaling is celebrated for its dramatic terrain, monumental architecture, and sweeping vistas. It is among the best-preserved, earliest-opened, and most iconic sections of the Great Wall.

National Alpine Skiing Centre's Ski Area

The Beijing Yanqing Olympic Zone—noted for its construction challenges, tight build schedule, and high standards for the Beijing 2022 Games—includes three principal venues: the National Alpine Skiing Centre (Snow Swallow), the National Sliding Centre (Snow Dragon), and the Yanqing Olympic Village (the "Most Beautiful Olympic Village"). The National Alpine Skiing Centre hosted alpine skiing competitions during both the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
