Unearthed in 1951 from Tomb No. 5 at Guwei Village, Hui County, Henan Province

Belt hooks were decorative accessories worn at the waist in ancient times. Jade belt hooks had already appeared as early as the Neolithic Liangzhu culture.

The Warring States period marked the peak of belt hook usage. This belt hook combines multiple techniques in its manufacture, features an ingenious design and sumptuous decoration, and reflects the superb level of craftsmanship achieved in belt hook production during the Warring States period.
