Guided by the philosophy that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, Yucun Village shut down its mines and cement factories, restored damaged landscapes, and improved the village environment. It has since transformed into a picturesque countryside with lush mountains, clean waters, and rolling forests of bamboo. In 2021, it was selected by the UN Tourism as one of the first “Best Tourism Villages”.
