JSL (Jinshanling) Galaxy Ski Resort is a paradise for skiing enthusiasts and uniquely captivating for its setting beside the towering Great Wall and rich historical heritage.

Stretching along a branch of the Yanshan Mountains, the Jinshanling Great Wall runs from Gubeikou—known as the "Iron Gate of the Capital"—in the west to Wangjing Tower in the east. Once a crucial defensive barrier protecting the capital, it endured countless years of beacon fires and conflict. Today the ancient wall stands in quiet dignity, bearing witness to the land's peace and renewal.

Built on the north side of the Great Wall and following the mountain's contours, the resort features an elevation drop of several hundred meters, offering an exceptional venue for snow sports.
