Straddling the border between Guanling and Zhenfeng counties in Guizhou, the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge arches over the Huajiang Grand Canyon, dubbed the "Earth's Fissure" by geologists. With its deck soaring 625 meters above the water surface and a main span of 1,420 meters, the bridge currently holds the world records for both height and span.

On September 28, 2025, the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge officially opened to traffic, slashing the travel time between the two sides of the canyon from over two hours to roughly two minutes. From its commencement in 2022 to its opening, this "mega-project" was completed within four years—a testament to the astounding "China Speed."
Throughout its construction, the project made continuous breakthroughs and innovations, securing 17 invention patents and 4 utility model patents, thereby contributing Chinese expertise to global bridge engineering.

Instantaneous wind speeds in the Huajiang Grand Canyon can reach Force 14. To ensure construction safety and the bridge's long-term integrity, builders employed Doppler LiDAR for round-the-clock wind field monitoring. Optical fiber Bragg grating sensors embedded within the main cables provide real-time data on stress and temperature, ensuring the bridge's structural health.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy activities like high-altitude bungee jumping and a high-speed racing runway. For panoramic canyon views, visitors can walk on glass walkways, relax in glass observation halls, or take high-speed elevators to the top of the bridge towers. Unique experiences include mailing postcards from the heights and sipping coffee "among the clouds."

Notably, subterranean karst water discovered during construction has been harnessed to create the world's tallest artificial waterfall curtain. This impressive 300-meter-wide curtain cascades from the bridge deck, enhanced by laser projections for a breathtaking spectacle. The bridge's main span of 1,420 meters, whose number sounds like "love you in the whole life" in Chinese, has made it a popular romantic destination. The Yundu Service Area on the Zhenfeng side has been developed into a cultural lounge, featuring murals with a Triassic ancient ocean theme and offering local culinary experiences. Nearby, in Xiaohuajiang village, historical sites such as the Ancient Tea Horse Road and cliff inscriptions are also worth exploring.
The scenic area separates pedestrian and vehicle traffic. All visitors should transfer to shuttle buses at the tourist center to reach the bridge tower area.
Running and jumping are prohibited on the sightseeing walkways and in the glass observation hall. Visitors wearing high heels are required to change into flat shoes provided by the scenic area.
Extreme sports activities (such as the giant swing, bungee jumping, and ziplining) have age, weight, and health restrictions (participants must be 12-60 years old, weigh 40-100 kg, and have no heart conditions, hypertension, etc.). A safety agreement must be signed in advance.
