Located in Fuyun county, Altay prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Koktokay International Ski Resort is rapidly gaining popularity for nine standout features: an early snow season start, an extended skiing period, abundant snowfall, high-quality snow, a large vertical drop, a wide variety of slopes, gentle winds, comfortable skiing conditions, and comprehensive support facilities. These natural advantages and well-developed amenities have made the resort a high‑caliber destination that has attracted skiers worldwide.

Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the resort is organized into several zones, including an alpine competition area, a public skiing area, and a freestyle skills park. Dozens of trails cater to skiers of all levels and preferences. In the off-piste zone, some runs wind through groves where moguls and snow-covered rocks offer opportunities for catching air and tackling a range of thrilling challenges.

A recognized hub for winter sports, Koktokay International Ski Resort served as a training base for 500 athletes from 16 national teams preparing for the Beijing Winter Olympics and has hosted many professional athletes.
